As the spring semester comes to an end, many of the Mount Holyoke College athletics teams have been busy for the final month of the academic year. Throughout May, the hunt seat, track & field and rowing teams have been participating in national competitions and outdoor championships.

On Friday, May 1, the hunt seat team attended the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Nationals held at Tryon International in Mill Spring, N.C. The event ran through Sunday, May 3, and resulted in Mount Holyoke placing sixteenth overall. Yet the competition saw numerous individual achievements made by Lyons, including honorable mentions for Emi Graf ’28, Grace Neumuth ’27 and Lili Evans ’26. The track & field team participated in the New England Division III Outdoor Championships, also on Friday, May 1, at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. There was no score recorded.
