Even at the best of times, stress can be overwhelming, and stress management is often difficult. When confronted with a global pandemic and a complete upheaval of routine, it can be easy to let our self-care practices fall by the wayside as a whole new source of stress invades our daily lives. The coronavirus outbreak has put a significant strain on the mental health of many.

Fashion Week Update
London Fashion Week, which took place from Feb. 14 to 18, did not go as smoothly as planned. Extinction Rebellion, an environmental movement that uses civil disobedience to insist on climate change action, protested the event outside of Fashion Week venues and around the city. They blocked traffic and passed out flyers at Gatwick Airport.

Health care fundraisers on GoFundMe are under scrutiny for inability to address significant gaps in coverage
On Feb. 25, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a current candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, tweeted a video slideshow of pictures of Boyle and a short summary of his story. Boyle died in February 2017, after his Go-FundMe campaign to pay for “a month’s supply of insulin” fell 50 dollars short of its 750 dollar target. Boyle was unable to afford these supplies and died as a result.

Environmental art took to the theater on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 7 and 8, in Chapin Auditorium. Project: Theatre, in collaboration with Sunrise Movement South Hadley, presented “The Student Body: Climate Action Play Showcase.” The showcase drew an audience from across the campus community, including students and professors, to soak in four student-written climate change-themed plays.
