On Sept. 13, the U.S. News & World Report released its 2022 Best Colleges ranking. Mount Holyoke College was among several schools to receive high rankings.

Mount Holyoke moved up four places and is now tied with Berea, Bryn Mawr, Kenyon and Scripps colleges as #30 for National Liberal Arts Colleges. The College was further recognized for Most International Students, Best Value Schools and Best Undergraduate Teaching.

The Princeton Review also released their 2022 rankings. Although they were not able to survey students’ experiences on campus because most colleges conducted remote learning during the past year, they did release a list of colleges that would have ranked in each category. Mount Holyoke was included on the lists for Best Value Colleges, Great Professors, Great College Library, LGBTQ Friendly, Most Beautiful Campus, Best Northeastern and Great Classroom Experience. Additionally, Mount Holyoke is still ranked by the Princeton Review as #1 for Making an Impact among private schools and #10 of the Best Alumni Networks among private schools.

In its 2021 college rankings list, the Washington Monthly also ranked Mount Holyoke as #47 for liberal arts colleges and #215 for “Best Bang for the Buck: Northeast.”

In a Sept. 13 email about the College ranking, Mount Holyoke President Sonya Stephens said, “We are confident that Mount Holyoke continues to compete with the very best schools in the nation and the world.”
