On Tuesday, April 2, Senate met in the Great Room in Blanchard Community Center for in-senate elections and working group mini town halls. Senators also took the time to discuss student feedback and ideas on behalf of their constituents and the specific groups they represent on campus.

Early voting has been underway in Massachusetts since Oct. 22, and in under a week, voters will have the opportunity to go to the polls on Election Day. On the ballot in Massachusetts, there are candidates for both state and federal offices as well as three statewide ballot questions.

The town of South Hadley is in the midst of preparing for the 2018 municipal election on April 10. Low voter turnout has plagued the town for years, but the content of this year’s ballot may succeed in bringing more people to the polls.
