Cross country earns D-III All-Academic Team title

The Mount Holyoke cross country team was recently recognized as a Division-III All-Academic Team, due to their excellent academic and athletic performances during the fall semester.

The United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently recognized Mount Holyoke Cross Country as a Division- III All-Academic Team. In order to achieve this honor, a team must have competed and compiled a team score at the NCAA Regional meet while maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.10.

The Lyons were one out of nearly 400 teams across the country to receive this honor. The seven other NEWMAC teams chosen this year include Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Springfield College, Smith College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wellesley College, Babson College and the Coast Guard Academy.
