Mount Holyoke’s track and field team tied with Wellesley College and Johnson & Wales University at 32nd place out of 34 competing teams March 1.

March has been quite an eventful month for Mount Holyoke College’s track and field team. In the fourth month of the 2025-26 season, the Lyons have faced their busiest one yet. Totalling five events, with four completed so far, the track and field team is only warming up for April and May, which promise to be even busier.
On March 1, Mount Holyoke competed at the New England Division III Indoor Championships in Boston, Mass. They tied at 32nd place with Wellesley College and Johnson & Wales University out of the total 34 teams in attendance.
Next, the Lyons competed at the NEICAAA Indoor Championships on Friday, March 6, at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. There was no score recorded.
The following day, they attended the Tufts Final Qualifier, which was non-scored.
Mount Holyoke’s track and field team has since competed at the Elmer Swanson Classic on Saturday, March 21, in Middleton, Conn. They will next attend an event at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on Saturday, March 28, at 10 a.m., in Amherst, Mass.
