Mount Holyoke Riding takes first place with 45 points at home show

The Mount Holyoke Riding team hosted the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Springfield College, Bentley College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Smith College, Amherst College, Worcester State and Bennington College during the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Mount Holyoke College Show on Saturday, March 2. The Lyons placed first at their home show with 45 points, with UMass Amherst coming in second with 39 points.

Game of the Week: Tennis and Riding travel for competition

Mount Holyoke’s tennis team traveled to Brunswick, Maine, where Bowdoin College hosted the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Championships this past weekend. It was the team’s first tournament since the pandemic halted sports in March 2020.

Riding

Mount Holyoke Riding tied for first place with University of Massachusetts Amherst for the High Point Title at last weekend’s Muddy Brook Farm Show, hosted by Smith College. The Lyons snagged 15 of the 20 classes and amassed 36 total points.

The Mount Holyoke Riding Team took on Amherst College, Bennington College, Hampshire College, Smith College, Springfield College, University of Massachusetts — Amherst, Westfield College and Williams College at the Mount Holyoke College Show on Saturday, March 5.
